Founder
Danielle Heard, MS, HHC is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Natural Whole Foods Chef and Founder of Artemis in the City, LLC a Holistic Nutrition Services company.
In 1996, at the age of 28, Danielle was chronically ill. That year she saw over 20 different physicians and eventually was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and connective tissue disease. After trying numerous medications and gaining 20 pounds, nothing helped her regain her health. Determined to get well, Danielle began to lead a natural whole foods lifestyle diet. Within two months of changing her diet, all of Danielle’s severe arthritic symptoms where gone. By the end of two years Danielle was completely well, had lost the weight and was full of new life and energy.
For more than 10 years Danielle has experienced excellent health free from her previous symptoms and illness. Successfully healing herself forever changed her relationship with food. She firmly believes in the healing properties of natural whole foods and is dedicated to helping people make better health choices in order to improve their health and prevent disease.
After more than a decade of experience in natural health as well as work in the field of communications, Danielle provides holistic health and nutritional services that are designed to educate and support people who want to improve their health, prevent disease and live life to the fullest.
“Our culture, the environment and the overabundance of processed foods that are made to taste so good do not make it easy for people to live balanced healthy lives free from illness and disease. I help people find their way back to the very basic laws of nature and support them as they learn to choose 'Foods' that will feed their mind, body and soul.” — Danielle Heard
