Creating a New Artemis in the City Member Account

I want to thank many of you for signing up as members of Artemis in the City. If you have not yet created a member account, I hope that you will sign up today. Membership is FREE and anyone can join. Your membership enables you to make comments on blog postings as well as view the healthy recipe section and make comments on recipes.

When building this website, I wanted to make it as easy to navigate as possible. A few people have had difficulty creating an account, so I would like to provide you with instructions.

To create a new member account:

1. Click on Sign Up on the main navigation bar of the website.
2. Create a username and enter into the username field box.
3. Type in your e-mail address into the e-mail field box.
4. Type into the Captcha Box the word segment that is requested.
5. Click on the create new account button.
6. Go to your e-mail box to view your new account confirmation e-mail.
7. Click on the link provided in the e-mail to validate your account.
8. Enter the temporary password sent to you in the e-mail.
9. Once logged in, go to Update My Profile to change your password.
10. Please update your profile by going to the Personal page.

Once your account has been created, you will only need to Log In the next time you visit.

Note: The Artemis in the City website was experiencing a high number of spambots in the member registry. All forms of spam are very quickly deleted. Spambots generally have usernames that don't look like anything memorable or they are some sort of business. Please keep this in mind as you create a username. Please create a username that looks personal, is legible and is not x-rated. If you happen to be accidentally deleted from our system, we apologize and would appreciate you signing up again.
